Eli Bowers, Physical Education, Health and Athletic Director

Born in Northeast Oregon and the son of two long-time teachers and coaches, being a teacher was an inevitable career choice for Eli. “I knew coming out of college that I wanted to teach at a small school because of the relationship aspect and because it is extremely rewarding to be involved in a community that revolves around the education and wellness of their young people.” Eli’s life revolves around being active, which is why he chose to teach PE and Health. “I am a lover of all sports and recreational activities and I hope to help students develop similar passions. To me, PE and Health are vital subjects because not only do they help provide students with the skills to live active and healthy lifestyles, but they also allow the opportunity for students to interact and engage with their peers in abstract settings, which is extremely important post-COVID.” PREPARATION: Bachelors from
